Michael Kenneth Williams as Chalky White. Notice his two tone brown shoes in brogue? White separated collar on red shirt? Subtle, subliminal, sublime.

Chalky is my favorite character and I love the dignity he brings to his role as a black leader in ths black community. He is suave, debonair and depicts the style and finesse of a well groomed black man. Chalky demeanor demands respect and he knows how to respect what individuals bring to the table and knows how to make people respect themselves and others. He is loyal and straight up front which what he wants and what he can deliver. Chalky represents a real man despite how he came about his position. He remembers his roots. He can see potential individuals and use it as needed… His future son-in-law. He walks and leaves his footprint. He has my respect. I hope to see more of his role next season. I think the relationship between Nucky and Chalky is exactly like what I have been told about such relationships between black men and white men before the civil rights movement according to my family. I love your profound and in depth quotes, Chalky! Great Show!
