War, what is it good for? Definitely not absolutely nothing. Wrist watches for one, they got invented during the first World War. Lord knows but I’m guessing it’s not particularly healthy to stop as bullets whizz by while you try to fish your pocket watch from your trench coat (yes, the first trench coat was made for soldiers by Burberry thus the name).
Uniform Wares 250 Series Watch is the latest in line of timepieces inspired by post-WW2 designs and thus giving birth to a watch dial with both stylish yet practical aesthetic, the series from contemporary Brit Watch manufacturer Uniform Wares features high end touches like applied hour markers and textured dials along with Italian calf leather watch bands. A capable performer both as a casual piece of wrist bling and simple dress watch, the only complaint I have with this 250 Series is the movement- Swiss Made ETA 955.432. In other words, Quartz. At the price tag of USD606, I’m not sure whether it’s worth it though I am conflicted due to the sheer simple elegance of the timepiece. [Shop here]
