Apologies for the 2 week hiatus, work beckoned and as always, it’s nice to be gorgeously interrupted. Featuring Noah Mills and Brad Koenig, HE by Mango Fall Winter 2011 collection must be a definite reprieve for North America and alas, late for Australian climes. That said, HE by Mango has often held a siren call for me while I was based in Singapore. While Mango H.E. has often priced itself above high street fashion, the fact is that the Spanish boutique has more in common with Massimo Dutti than Topman.
In the scant 3 years since inception, Mango H.E. has grown from strengths to strengths creating what I feel to be the strongest collection of menswear for Fall Winter 2011; using fabrics much adored by high end tailors from tweed to Prince-of-Wales check, the slim sharp contoured looks lean towards the likes of Zegna than fellow Spaniard Zara; so go ahead, channel your Italian passions and muster your inner lothario with Mango.
