Singapore Gets Its Own TAG Heuer Monaco

We’ve had three successful Formula One night races and what better way to commemorate the runaway hit that is the Singapore Grand Prix and TAG’s 150 years of luxury watchmaking then by creating an exclusive limited edition Singapore version of the eminent Monaco Automatic Calibre 12 Chronograph.

McQueen, still the definitive alpha male today much as he was years ago.

Immortalised by Steve McQueen in 1970’s Le Mans, to me, McQueen is the sex icon that this generation never had. Even as a straight man, the raw charisma and sheer animal magnetism of this Hollywood bad boy, outclasses and outguns our Edward and Jacob (no offense to either teams).

McQueen and the Singapore edition Monaco

Unabashedly macho, the Monaco Automatic is considered by many (myself included) to be a “must own” in any watch connoisseur’s collection. Now available in 100 pieces, this Singapore edition celebrates both the incredulity of the Singapore F1 race and the brand’s rich motor racing heritage and unprecedented watchmaking skill all in one timepiece.
