I was digging through my old files when I came upon a Cartier Press Release circa 2009 about the Cartier Santos 100 Carbon automatic and chronograph editions. This was way back before the stealth look was even in vogue. Available in steel polished bezel on steel ADLC matt black coating or in high contrast pink gold bezel on steel satined ADLC case, the Cartier Santos 100 Carbon automatic and chronograph watches to me define the minimalist classic elegance that I look for in big budget investments. The sheer simplicity of the Cartier Santos along with the contrasting clean modern lines with traditional roman numerals make the Santos a piece that I will forever dream of fondly. Till I get my hands on one, I shall be watching Ebay. Tech specs below the gallery.
