In the aftermath of being back from Christmas Break (tons of work and emails to clear), I must apologise that I have been remiss in keeping the blog updated. This 2012, I hope to be more consistent with my posts; the goal- 1 per day; but I digress. I guess it’s somewhat fortuitous that I’ve returned to the writing right in the middle of Fashion Fall full swing in Milan.
Jil Sander Fall 2012 Menswear
The Monsieur’s Brief: It’s a hit and miss for me. Raf Simons has done away with his signature “baggy” look for most of his collection and re-invented menswear by shades of black; His collection of double breasted blazers would compliment the wardrobe of most Monsieurs out there, I am however turned off by the Nazi-SS-esque overuse of leather (and waxed nylon?). That said, his eye for detail remains impeccable as ever.

Jil Sanders Fall Menswear 2012- Apologies for ungentlemanly conduct. Please pardon my French but What the F#@k?
Other Notable Looks from Jil Sander Fall 2012
- Jil Sanders Menswear Fall 2012- pardon my French but What the Fuck?
- Jil Sanders Fall Menswear 2012- no, it doesn’t look like the suit to the left has lots of lint stuck to it.
- Great for that Gestapo look. I jest. Though not a classically elegant look, I see lots of potential in terms of wardrobe combinations for party looks.
