Armando Cabral Spring Summer 2012
One time fashion star and now big time shoe designer, runway’s loss of portuguese model Armando Cabral is our gain. Launching his shoe collection in 2009, his are shoes meant for the urbanite- a metropolitan lifestyle espoused by Armando himself. Personally, I find his a collection of really simple yet classic shoes; Though casual by nature, the style can be dressed up or down and that to me is a winner both in terms of fashion and finance. The best part? Armando Cabral is manufactured in Italy by master craftsman. The Euro-chic appeal with hybrid sneakers lend an air of easy sophistication for Monsieurs. [Shop here]
Fall Winter 2012
Launching a new line of chukka boots for AW2012, Cabral scores another home run with Italian made Saffiano leather and continuing his unique design of “sneaker hybrids” with deer leather and suede. Remember how I often talk about luxury goods and an eye of details? Look at the subtle textures on these chukkas and tell me you’re not looking into face of perfection- fortunately, perfection from Armando Cabral is affordable (and I suspect, for a limited time- until the brand goes stratospheric).
